What does it do if I turn it to 100? 0? Halfway?

Default is at 50%. Should I move it higher or lower? And by how much? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

Set it to zero. it potentially adds to lag.

 

its a lag compensator, at 100 you wont see as much lag but you will not know why you get stuck, killed in action or cant seem to get hits/kills, set it to 0 and you'll know when its time to leave a lobby right off

 

I didnt know it effected lag. I thought it was a visual rendering helper thingy.

 

it doednt do anything about lag, it changes how you see it

 

So whats the best setting? 0?

most say 30-50% will get you the best gameplay

 

I set it to 100 at first and was real frustrated at times that fools I shot turned and killed me with100 health, and my armor would die with acouple hits, sometimes only one, set it to 0 a few weeks ago now none of that happens and my kd is going up where
it should be-lots of matches show bad rubberbanding now when I had none at 100 so...

 

The best gameplay is 0 man. the graphics get better when you turn up smoothing, but you're more likely to be shooting at ghosts

 

had it set to 50 for a few days, but 0 is really what you want if you want to see all of the lag, otherwise its WTF killed in action for no reason, stuck on nothing, veh acting like they hit something when you didn't etc.

 

its not really graphics as much as tears and holes or whatever, but I don't see much of that unless its bad lag and im gonna leave anyway

 

Recommend you set it to 40% if you're running at least 15 Mbps DLS.
