Network Settings

So, my network settings have been giving me an error message for the past few days now. There error message has ranged from me needing to update the Xbox to talking to long to start error code. Ive had this Xbox since the first year of it being released
and its worked great and smoothly for the past few year, just recently it’s slowed down so much to the point where when I start the Xbox the dash takes like a minute to fully load with out an internet connection. I managed to get connected at a different house
once and it ran as it always did. Now I’m trying to connect to a different internet connection and it won’t let me into the network setting. I’ve cleared caches, hard restarted several times a day, everything the error messages told me to do and I can’t open
the network setting tab. Is my Xbox just bricked now or is it able to be fixed? If anyone has any ideas I’d be glad to hear you out.

Did you manage to get your Xbox Updated?

If the answer is no, please download the update onto a USB Storage device, from this page and update your Xbox One console via the USB Storage device. This should then allow you to connect to a network, again.

Please select Need to Update console offline and follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.

Hi, if you are asking what is better in terms of speed a manual ip address or auto (DHCP) , there is no difference

Have you tried a hard reset on the Xbox? Hold the xbox button down on the front until it shuts off. After this are you still getting the same speed? Have you also tried changing out the ethernet cable or a different port on the router? Also you could
try changing the DNS to Google which is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 You can do this by going to your network setting on your Xbox. Push the Xbox button on your controller and on the left hand side go down to settings> All settings>Network>Network settings>Advanced
settings>DNS settings>Manual I hope this helps

When you did the hard reset did you unplug the power cable from the back of the console? If not try the hard reset again but this time unplug the power cable from the back of the XBOX for 5 minutes then try it again. Update with the results. Good Luck!

Forward port 3075. Worked for me, but I do have my One on moderate for a while now. Just can't get it to open anymore.
