Network setting says "Everything is good," but still unable to connect to Xbox Live

    Hello,

I'm currently experiencing a strange issue with Xbox Live. When I turn on my Xbox One console and log-in, it only shows the Home tab with the "Connect to Xbox Live" box on the right-hand side. However, when I click this option nothing happens.

I am still able to check my network settings by going to "All Settings" then to "Network" but it just gets more puzzling here. It shows that I'm currently connected to my network, and that all services are available. Testing both my network/multiplayer connection
    shows "Everything is Good."

I've tried hard resetting the console and clearing my alternate MAC address, with no success. Still shows that I'm offline, and I can not connect to any online games. I thought this was related to the Xbox Live service outage earlier today, but the problem
    has still not resolved.

A couple of interesting notes that me useful. First, My friends list is up, but shows seemingly old information (AKA going on the Xbox live website shows that these friends are no longer online). Secondly, I played a game in offline mode earlier today and unlocked
several achievements. They are showing up as unlocked on the Xbox Live Website, so it seems my console is communicating to Xbox Live in some way.

Any ideas of what else I can do? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    :)

For those having trouble signing in. Error Code: 0x800488FC

Sign in problem is NOT fixed. No error code but can't connect to xbox live. Network test is fine, all other devices get internet service. Multiplayer test says try again. Of course cant play any downloaded games because cant verify account.

  3. Error Code 80151909 When Connecting to Xbox Live

When I am attempting to sign into my xbox live account I get an error message reading "Your console was unable to connect to Xbox Live...". Under all that it has the error code 80151909, I looked up what that error code was for I found out it was for downloading
profiles which I'm not trying to do. I went on to my network setting and tried to connect to xbox live again, it says my network and Internet connections are both fine but it won't allow me to connect to xbox live, does anyone kow how to fix this?

Network setting says "Everything is good," but still unable to connect to Xbox Live

Further, just recognized that I can watch and stream Twitch with no issues whatsoever. However, I had to choose to open the app in "Offline Mode" for it to actually open.

Problem solved....although not sure what actually worked. Logged out of profile, disconnected network, hard reset, unplugged console for 5 mins, turned console back on, signed out of profile again, and connected network. This reconnected Xbox live, then
I just had to sign back in. I doubt this helps others, so Mod please feel free to delete this thread (can't seem to do it myself).

  10. I am having the exact same problem with my Xbox one so il go and try this logging out and back in again as everything is working fine and I can use them Internet in the Xbox and it's just cannot access any online gaming or profiles or syncing offline seems
to work but then we all want online play lol, il write again in a little while if this doesn't work, Network setting says "Everything is good," but still unable to connect to Xbox Live :)

Also it saves spending ages just waiting to talk to someone and then having to go through all the trouble shooting with them as well lol.

I had the same issue over the weekend and I had to do unplug it while it was on and wait for the light on backup battery to turn off then plug it all back in and turned on the system. It asked for me to do an update after and I did it and it worked. Then
I tried to log on again today and I'm having the same issue. I don't want to have to do this every time.

I also tried to log in and out and reset my router.

  13. Network setting says "Everything is good," but still unable to connect to Xbox Live

Okay, so I've contacted Microsoft support about this issue. The main fix that works is removing your account and re downloading it, using your Microsoft account email and password. The major issue for me is that it has been a recurring problem. I thought
it was just down to my internet speed, but it seems to be a fault in the service, that needs to be addessed soon. Granted, it is a minor annoyance, but it shouldn't be all too difficult for microsoft to find the cause and correct it? Especially since it never
happened before the previous system udate...

I experienced the same problem, read other solutions here and realised I had recently changed my password on a different windows device. Signing out and signing back in with the updated password fixed this issue.
