i'm having the same stupid problem! hellooo microsoft! fix this ! why is this question unanswered when it's one of the ones that pops up on google????

my brother and i both have problems when we are trying to connect to party chat with each other "Network settings block chat for some people Go to network settings" but when our friend invites us to party, or joins our party, then suddenly we can both chat
in the party chat.

stupid little problems like this really REALLLLLLY need to be fixed. why did i pay 500 dollars for this machine if i cant even play it!!!?!?????

Could you try running the Xbox Connection test as well as the
Multiplayer Connection test on your Xbox One? You can find these under the
Network part of Settings.



Lets see if that brings up any errors.

Hey guys i fixed this problem today. I had to change some stuff in my router. my router had restrictions, i called my internet company and they helped me make some changes. i had to switch it to a ppoe something or other, idk exactly what all happened but
i had to go and manually input a bunch of stuff in my router settings and now im up and running! my NAT was moderate before and i now it says open on my xbox.

also all three of us have a moderate NAT setting

Im so sick of these problems. IM going to look for a Lawyer and file a billion dollar class action lawsuit against Microsoft and COD for all this crap.
