Network Lag on Xbox Series S

1. Can you run the console speed test and provide us the following details:

• Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
  
• Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
  
• Select Test network speed & statistics.
  

Write down the following information from your speed test results: Use the following websites:

• Ping (or Latency)
  

Compare your speed test results to the following recommended minimum requirements for the best connection experience (note that these are the minimum requirements; the higher your connection speed, the better your experience will be):

For online gaming:

• Minimum download speed of 3 Mbps (or 3,000 Kbps)
  
• Minimum upload speed of 0.5 Mbps (or 500 Kbps)
  
• Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
  

For SD streaming:

• Minimum download speed of 1 Mbps (or 1,000 Kbps)
  
• Upload speed does not impact streaming
  
• Ping of less than 150 milliseconds
  

For HD streaming:

• Minimum download speed of 3.5 Mbps (or 3,500 Kbps)
  
• Upload speed does not impact streaming
  
• Ping of less than 150 milliseconds

The Lag might have been a performance issue and not a network one.

Since the Xbox Series X is stronger than the Series S, that's probably what made the difference.

As network hardware goes, they use the same one.

It's the only factor I can muster.

And it still lags but my wifi works with other devices including a different xbox series s
