    Went through Xbox's NAT troubleshooter (DMZ, Port Forwarding)



    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown

    I have tried everything I could find on the web to exact instructions and cannot find a fix. I have had to open ports in the past with this router on the 360 but haven't had anything but strict with the one until recently. I have recently restored my router
    to its factory settings and I'm currently unable to change the servers. I'm hoping someone else out there has the same or similar setup as me and can help thanks.

    Network is behind a port-symmetric NAT

    Follow these steps my xbox always goes to strict and without fail my opens everytime i do this

    1 reset router turn on/off then off then on

    2 quickly hold the power reset on your console now once everything has booted back up go to test multiplayer on the xbox once that is done hold lt rt lb and rb again once done press A everything should be sorted

    Being behind a port symmetric NAT tells you that there are ports forwarded already, but maybe not all needed.

    So best practice is to setup the one again into DMZ and check if that changes anything.

    If you also still own a Xbox 360 please do not forward any ports to the 360 as they are not available to the One then.

    Please check also to have a static ip provided to your One.
