    I live in an apartment building that has free WiFi for it residence. When I used to play my Xbox I would connect to the Community free WiFi(apartment building free WiFi) with no issues ,now I'm no longer able to connect via WiFi ,I must now connect via hard
    wired in our build community TV room( that where the Comcast WiFi, cable box and AP is located). I hard wired into one of the 4 ports in back of the WiFi device but it doesn't work. SO I'm thinking it maybe my Xbox One console

    Good evening Xbox community, recently I've been having a lot of connection issues with my Xbox one. I'm signed off during online play and using online applications, most of the time the only solution is waiting or restarting my console but lately it's been
    worse. I've tried resetting the router many times and reconnecting to the network but nothing works, please help, this is so frustrating..

    Hey AL SAYFULLAH! Are you able to test out the console on a friends connection? Additionally you can try out

    these     alternative connection methods to see if the issue is with the console or network. Post back and let me know how it goes!

    only have 1 network and the only way i can get on live is by retyping my network password every time i want to play..

    Yeah, that'd be a pretty good assumption. :) The only possibility could be if your console was purchased used or shipped to you by MS as a repair replacement - in that case it is possible the console was registered to the preview program by the previous
    user and would still be receiving preview updates unbeknownst to you.

    But, if you bought it new, this shouldn't apply.

    In addition to DURP's questions, I would also ask, are you in the preview program? If so, from around that same time back, there have been some NAT issues occurring with the current preview, so I would wonder if it's in the same category of problem. If you
    ARE in the preview, you would definitely want to post these details in that forum (if you need the link or navigation steps, let me know!)
