Network connection?

Its kindof hard to explain my problem really,

Basically every monday my xbox one decides to disconnect itself off my wifi. It does not allow me to reconnect until later in the week (sometimes as early as Tuesday or as late as Thursday).

Upon reconnecting my xbox does not allow me to send messages/game invites and i cant accept invites either.

Also i can join a party chat but i can not hear my friends or speak to them either.

On the weekends it decides that party chat will work correctly but i still can not accept or send game invites.

Everything used to work correctly but this started happening about a month ago.

Not sure if this is a known problem or it's just my xbox but please can someone help me.

Network card

Hello, I just realized that the Xbox 360 uses weird usb looking network card. Is there an actual reason to this? Or is it made like that to make sure no one just replaces the network card to something else they like. Also does anyone know how to remove the BIOS of the Xbox? Ive been trying to install LInux however the BIOS is in the motherboard. Any help is great thank you

 

360 Slim Doesn't See Network

My Xbox360 Slim wont see my wireless network. Every other device in my house connects to the network flawlessly. My Xbox occasionally sees my neighbours network. To be clear, it's not that my Xbox won't connect to the network, it usually claims there are no networks to connect to. Any help?

 

has anything changed in the last month? new router/ new internet provider/ etc? sounds like network issues with your router. have you tried a cable if you are on wifi?

 

In addition to DURP's questions, I would also ask, are you in the preview program? If so, from around that same time back, there have been some NAT issues occurring with the current preview, so I would wonder if it's in the same category of problem. If you
ARE in the preview, you would definitely want to post these details in that forum (if you need the link or navigation steps, let me know!)

 

Nothing has changed at all in the past month.

I take it if i have no idea what this preview program is I'm not on it?

 

Yeah, that'd be a pretty good assumption. The only possibility could be if your console was purchased used or shipped to you by MS as a repair replacement - in that case it is possible the console was registered to the preview program by the previous
user and would still be receiving preview updates unbeknownst to you.

But, if you bought it new, this shouldn't apply.
