Network Connection Issue on New Xbox one console

Dear Friends,

I've bought a new 1TB Xbox One console, all is well apart from the part fact that I cannot connect to the internet to download the latest update. I live in the hospital and the WiFi is accessible via multiple router stationed across the staff accommodation
area . In order to access the internet we are directed to a login page when we connect to the router, which in any normal circumstances we would add our personal details to access the internet. Unfortunately with the new Xbox One it can connect to the router
but cannot connect to login page, as there is no option to do this! I have a laptop and with this laptop I can connect to the wifi, so could I connect my laptop with Xbox One to download my first update and play my first game. Otherwise I have a new Xbox one
without the ability to play Halo 5...sob sob sob.... I am going to see my parent during the Christmas break so I could take the Xbox there but they live 250 miles away and 20 days away without playtime. Any advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

That sounds like it may possibly be an issue with the game on either your console of your friends console. However if possible can you both try running the network troubleshooters below to eliminate possible network issues.

Honestly, that doesn't sound good. If your Xbox was connected before to the same router and now doesn't want to connect, that sounds like it could be but not necessarily an issue with the network card inside the Xbox. Does your Xbox recognize any other networks?

One option is that you look at your laptop's settings and write down its MAC address. Now turn it off and on the Xbox One go into Network settings and manually input the same MAC address. The network should now think you're running the already-approved and
logged in laptop and allow your Xbox One to connect.

If your hospital network requires re-authentication after a period, you would need to do this from the laptop presumably, and you will only be able to have one online at the same time, but in theory this should work.
