    Network being hacked? DDOS


    XBOX LIVE is unusable and both my Xbox ones are very slow, right when those hackers said they would shut down Xbox live forever. I would think microsoft would of prepared for the attack, gonna suck for all those new owners opening their new xbox one and
    can't dl the day one update essentially making their console into a brick....

    is there here a time frame we can expect live to be back up priperly?

    In the meantime you can try appearing offline to avoid further contact with this individual. This can be changed in the "network settings" tab and it won't effect your online connection but it will appear to be "offline".

    It is important to note that people on your friends list will also view your as being "offline" as well.

    Hi there LDC Carnage.

    If you're consistently
    disconnecting from Xbox Live     please try those steps and send us your Detailed Network Stats (Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics) as seen on your Xbox One console?

    Additionally, if you're being harassed, please
    file a report     against the user from your Xbox One console.

    I am not having any issues with my consoles. Try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then while it is off unplug your modem/router for 10 seconds and wait until they start up again.

    That should speed up your net for you.

    BAM, another stupid mundane solution to a serious problem that Microsoft doesn't know the actual solution for. That makes you an MVP in my books. Right.... easy answer, dont charge us for something that can be so easily taken down by some basement hacks.

    That was a ddos attack,completely different from being hacked.

    Xbox live has never been hacked.

    Anyone can perform DDOS attacks/a whole bunch of other stuff fairly easily. I know of plenty of people who can. I wouldn't worry about being hacked man.
