Nether portal

I have built three different Nether portals and When I come back through , I end up coming through a different portal than I went through . I don't recall this as being correct . Am I wrong in remembering that I should be coming back through the original
portal ?

Minecraft Nether Problem

My friends and I are making multiple nether portals to connect our houses but 3 of our overworld portals make us spawn in 1 nether portal. So we have 2 portals in the nether and 4 in the overworked. How do we spawn more in the Nether?

 

Seeds for Minecraft update 1.9-- No Mushroom Biome?????

Once you build a nether portal, and go to the nether, there should be nether fortresses in the nether , lol you have to find them though

 

Same issue here. In fact, the game is creating new gates as I come back through. Odd indeed.

 

sad thing is i just came here cause i noticed this issue today, sad thing was when i came back I was outside the map and had no idea where I was at. It was cool that i came back in a mineshaft got me three treasure chests and a bunch of rail. well found
out where I was at and built a tunnel to that place.

I went and built 3 new portals and Every time I wanted to go back I went on to somewhere else. but I saved and turned autosave of to make sure of ot where to happen again I can just turn the game off. I see it as a advantage but I can be annoying getting
back to the place where you where before.

 

I tore down one of the " odd " portals and when I came back, it respawned .So even when I destroyed it , the game rebuilt it .
