    Login Information:

    • Default Gateway - 192.168.0.1
    • Username – admin
    • Password – password



    DHCP Reservation



    1. Login to the router by entering 192.168.0.1 in to the address bar.
    2. Enter the username “admin” and the password “password”.
    3. Select Lan Setup from the menu under the Advanced section on the left side.
    4. Click the Add button under the Address Reservation section.
    5. Enter the Desired IP, the MAC Address of you console and a name for the device in the provided fields.
    6. Click the Add button to save your DHCP Reservation.

    1. Login to router by entering http://routerlogin.net in to the address bar or by entering the default gateway IP address.
    2. The router will then prompt you to enter the user name and password. The default user name and password are: "admin"/password.
    3. Click LAN Setup on the left.
    4. At the bottom of the page you will find the "Address Reservation" section. Click on "Add" to bring up a new menu.
    5. In this menu, if the Xbox you want to add is already on the network, you can select it by clicking on the radio button next to the device. This will populate the fields with the information, alternatively you can enter the information manually then click
      "Add" to finish the process.

    NAT fluctuates throughout the day.

    Have you used the DHCP reservation feature in the router settings to always give each xbox and the ps4 their own IP addresses?

    It can also be called address reservation.

    Last time I used a netgear(different model number) I had to use this feature to keep the NAT open on just one xbox.

    I did have the DHCP reservation, but ip wasn't auto. I've changed it back to auto and now I'm going to see what happens. If it still gives me problems, I'll call netgear again and see what they say and then check back here for more help

    Unable to connect to dhcp server

    Have you tried updating your router to make sure it is running the latest firmware? It sounds as if the DHCP server functionality within the router is malfunctioning. I woud also suggest setting the console up on a static/reserved IP address if that has
    not already been done.

    I use a Netgear Nighthawk R7000 and I don't have an issue with connecting to the DHCP server.
