  2. Yes, they are both R7000 Routers. So when I set the one up in AP mode, it just pulls the settings from the main router. I even disabled the Wireless signals I am not using.

I am only using the 5 GHZ on the Router, for the Xbox

2.4 GHz on the AP, both Normal and Guest.

All Other Wireless is disabled to ensure no interference.

What is getting me concerned is that the Desktop dropped off the UPnP list at the same time the Xbox did, and returned the same time. I never noticed a disconnect on the desktop, but I was not on it when I got disconnected on the Xbox. The desktop is hardwired
    direct to the main router.

  3. I also have to say that the Download speeds on the xBox are all over the place, sometimes in 20Mbps sometimes up to 70 Mbps. I'm beginning to wonder if its not hardware....

the xbox live servers are *** up. I know that for a fact. the fact that I can get 90 Mbps on my wireless with my laptop with all the kids and my wife and mother in law running their stuff kinda proves that its a problem on microsofts end

  5. I also know this because I have my xbox one hardwired into my router. I used to get a speed of 116 at the highest point.... now I get diddly because of the servers sucking the high hard one

  6. I definitely think that could be part of it, but its not my whole issue. In any case it certainly seems isolated to the Xbox connection, but I suppose it would be much harder to notice a slight interruption in the router on a computer than on the Xbox.
Following a disconnect, after a few minutes the Xbox seems to reconnect to the router on its own, and then I can resume playing, but during the time I am kicked off I have no access to internet and therefore Xbox live. (The Xbox wasn't even showing in the
UPnP map when I was kicked off, but appeared again when it reconnected)

The Xbox is the only Device on the 5 GHZ on the Router.

2.4 GHz on the AP, both Normal and Guest.

The Netgear Nighthawk R7000 (AC1900) should support multiple console support, if not Netgear have messed up any of their new firmware versions that is.
