NETFLIX

Only recently, my netflix app will not work. Basically, when i open netflix it gets stuck on the load screen and causes my Xbox One to become unrepsonsive/freeze. I cannot use the controller or any functions of the xbox as soon as this app is opened. Every
other app works flawlessly only one im having trouble with is netflix. I literally spent over 7 hours today contacting Xbox and Netflix on this matter and the issue couldn't be resolved after all possible troubleshoot methods were tried, including performing
a factory reset on my console (now everything is erased). The only solution that the Xbox tech support could come up with was to send it in for warranty. I just find it hard to believe that its a hardware issue, and will be without an xbox for up to 27 days
if i send it in and i really dont want to do that.

Has anyone had this issue and found a fix?! Im sort've desperate haha need to get my netflix fix!

I'm going through the same exact thing....Microsoft had no answers for me either...has to be something on their end

 

I had the same issue a few months ago I would use netflix one day and not close it then try and use it again and it would freeze my console to the point I would have to reboot. now as long as I close netflix right when I am done watching it the console never
freezes. But as of last night my netflix is freezing the video and continuing the voice and hulu will do the same thing but give me a green screen with voice and I have tried all suggestions in the xbox help menu to no avail so I think there is a problem with
xbox.

 

I have been having the same issue for over a month. I have tried every "solution" available online, rebooting the system, reinstalling the app, signing out of all other devices, rebooting the modem, connecting right to the modem. Nothing. Nothing works.
All other internet and streaming related apps work flawlessly, but Netflix is really bumming me out.

 

Last night I tried a little experiment because of netflix not working for me since getting my xbox one a couple weeks back. I was connected to a Toshiba projection TV and netflix would not open, just sat at the opening black screen with the red netflix and
glitching red circle. I hooked xbox up to an older flat panel LCD screen with 720p max res, and the thing worked without any problem after changing video output to auto detect. As long as it is manually put in with the other TV though, it will not open and
function. Hopefully, this experiment can help you guys, it just told me I need to get a new flat panel TV that is larger than the 19" flat panel I currently have!!

I would suggest deleting Netflix entirely from your console. Hope that helps!

 

I had the same issue, everything except Netflix was working fine. Turned out to be my son's video capture box, connecting straight to the TV instead of using the HDMI passthrough on said box fixed it.
