Netflix Xbox one problem (annoyence)

Discus and support Netflix Xbox one problem (annoyence) in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; this has been bothering me for awhile now, about 6 months, when i watch netflix and pause it and then use the command xbox turn off and it turns off...     Netflix Xbox one problem (annoyence)


    this has been bothering me for awhile now, about 6 months, when i watch netflix and pause it and then use the command xbox turn off and it turns off and then the next day when i turn my xbox on using the voice command, i try to reopen netflix and its frozen
    ( i use my iphone as a controller) and i have to go out and close the app and restart it, its not really a big deal just annoyence

    Does anyone think the shield could be an annoyence like armour lock?

    Now TV and Netflix on Xbox One vs PS3/4

    I've not had a problem with Netflix at all. To the point I ditched all other methods of accessing it in favour of using the XBox One.

    Please let me know if you have your Xbox set to instant on or not. I also have this issue with my Netflix when I switch the xbox off without closing it.

    I would suggest that you close the Netflix app, and any other apps that are running when you switch the xbox off as this seems to work for me and Netflix will load fine the next time I use it.

    Please let me know how you get on.

    Guys here is what you need to do.

    Step One: Uninstall Movies & TV App, Netflix and BluRay Player.

    Step Two: Change your console settings from instant on to power saving mode.

    Step Three: Hold the power button down on your console until the white light on the adapter turns orange.

    Step Four: Unplug the console and television set from the wall and wait five minutes.

    Step Five: Plug the devices back in and power them up.

    Step Six: Reinstall, Netflix, Movies & TV and BluRay

    This will fix the errors you are experiencing.

    Netflix "exceeds maximum maturity rating."

    I'm also suffering from this annoyance. I wonder if it would have something to do with the instant on feature. Don't remember having this issue before switching to that mode. The issue appears sporadically, so hard to troubleshoot. None of my other Netflix
    devices (ps4, win pc, Android phone) give me this problem. Only xbox one.

    Does Anyone Care About Xbox One Achievements Unrelated To Games?

    They are useless. Now if Netflix gave me a free month for the annoyance, maybe I'd use it on the X1 rather than on the 360 or Roku.

    Finally bought an Xbox One!!

    Just a quick update. So far I have two minor issues, well they're more annoyances. Firstly, the Kinect voice commands still work extremely well except when it comes to turning the system on. I have to say it three or four times before it hears me and turns
    on, is this a common problem? Turning it off works every time.

    Secondly I set the Xbox One to turn off after an hour of inactivity as I often fall asleep on the couch watching Netflix but I guess since Netflix has the auto-play feature now, the Xbox One doesn't recognize it as inactive. Left it on all night last night...
    I would watch Netflix on my 360 and it would turn off after two hours or whatever it was.

    Everything else is great though, can't wait to get home and start Chapter 2 of Max: CotB!!
