Netflix XBox Always on HDR

When netflix launches it forces itself into always on hdr, forcing HDR on non HDR content. Dolby Vision/hdr10 content looks fine but anything not finished in HDR is washed out, desaturated and cool. Disableing hdr in settings or on the tv will fix it
for sdr content but then if you decide to watch anything HDR tou have to jump out and rechange the setrings. Netflix app on my Sony x930 and LG CX can detect sdr/hdr content appropriately and can switch between the two, so it is possible in their app. Is
there any estimate when it will be fixed on Xbox if ever? It is a giant pain to do the settings dance constantly.

If that doesnt work, you need to tell netflix. Third parties are responsible for their own apps

This is concerning because I find my Xbox One S to be a better option than my PlayStation 4 or Smart TV. I do not like how the image looks with HDR enabled on non-HDR content as it's washed out and blurry. As it stands, I have to use my PS4 Pro for Netflix
and Xbox One S for Amazon Video and Hulu. This is in no way an intended feature because if it was it would happen on every device. A company as big as Netflix has to be aware that HDR on standard content will have a negative effect and for this issue to go
on for so long is unacceptable.

Why is this issue being ignored? I should not have to disable HDR every time I wish to use Netflix. I’m about to downgrade my Netflix plan to not include UltraHD and see if that stops it from triggering HDR but I am not sure if that will be successful. The
loss of color and blurring is unacceptable and the silence both Microsoft and Netflix show towards this is concerning. I don’t want to buy a Roku player or a PS4 media remote so canceling Netflix may be my only option if a fix isn’t implemented within the
next month or two.
