    Is Netflix now usable without the need for a Gold account?

    Had email saying entertainment apps but Netflix was not mentioned, apologies if ive missed the obvious lol

    Do I have to PAY for a gold account to play live?

    yes. you can use apps like Netflix without a gold account but online gaming requires gold

    He's not asking for exclusive rights to use Netflix without a Gold subscription. The point is EVERYONE should be able to use Netflix along with other services, without a Gold subscription.

    Yea but I unsubscribed to gold and now it wont even let me open netflix without gold! Am I missing something? Is there an update I missed? Am I mistaken or is it supposed to be available now because it is June....

    I'm having the same problems here. It's June, no gold account because I was told this would work, now can't use Netflix still.

    Can anyone please confirm if Xbox One now allows you to use your apps without have a Gold Subscription ? I don't wan to unsubscribe just to find out that I can't use IE or Netflix. It's already July, so please someone must have tried this by now ?

    If he wants to use netflix then he will need to comply with the mandates like all the other users.
