Netflix will not uninstall/run

Hi all,

So we have a new Xbox One S that we basically use as a media device in Canada. Initially, Netflix worked well, but not when we try and use it, it wants to link to my Xbox one account and wont let me sign into my Netflix account. I see that older support
says your need Xbox Live to use Netflix, but then some articles indicate that this (Crazy) requirement was dropped. But even when we uninstall, it doesn't seem to uninstall and is there.

Without Netflix, this 2Tb Xbox one S is kind of a paperweight for us...anyone help?

Netflix App On Xbox One

Can't run the Netflix app on my xbox one, it only loads and laggs my xbox and I cant go to the home page or anything. I've tried to uninstall and install back agen but it dosent work.

Netflix Keeps Crashing

Im having issues with netflix, and now i cant find the uninstall button anywhere....

Iv tried the hard reset on the xbox but its still not showing the uninstall button.

Anyone help???

Hey there sdbaral!

After you uninstall Netflix have you tried a quick power cycle before re-installing it? That can often times clear up trouble like this. To power cycle your Xbox One hold down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it shuts off. Let us know how it goes

I followed Stussy U's directions and it did not work for me. Again, minus the router part. Uninstalled user data for NetFlix, uninstalled Netflix, complete power down of xb1, unplugged power cable from xb1 for over 5 mins, reinstalled NetFlix, had to enter
my info and bam, no worky.

I just tried uninstalling and reinstalling. It did not resolve the problem. As soon as I uninstalled Netflix I was prompted to reinstall it. Did I not completely uninstall it?

Netflix will not uninstall/run
