    Netflix voice commands STILL DON'T WORK


    I have been struggling with selecting my netflix profile with voice commands for months now and it's getting old. It use to work just fine with "profile one" but for the last few months it hasn't worked at all. Every thread I've read has been the same thing
    with the same administrator message "this thread is a couple months old" even when some of the recent comments are within days. I just want a solid answer on what is going on or what to do. Am I using the wrong commands? Did they abort the select profile on
    purpose? Are they tired of people using voice commands over controllers? Why would you create a console that is suppose to be a multimedia console and yet eliminate voice commands that you previously had? Again, maybe I'm using the wrong commands but I've
    done my research and I have yet to get a straight answer and I know I am not the only person struggling with this issue. I bought my Xbox for the purpose of a multimedia device that can be controlled through voice commands, I thought that was amazing. But
    why are frequently used features getting eliminated?? Yes, all my other voice commands work great and this may sound petty. But to turn my controller on for the sole purpose of selecting profile one, when there was a voice command that worked just great before?
    I just don't understand

    Does other voice commands work ,in other apps ?.

    Have you tried setting up kinnect again ..?.

    Just a suggestion , I don't have netflix .

    Anniversary update broke the Netflix voice commands

    The Netflix voice commands are not working in Netflix since the update. Voice works everywhere else. This isn't the first time an update has done this to Netflix on my system. Is anyone using voice successfully in Netflix since the update?

    Well its about time somebody took responsibility for this! This is the very first time anyone has tried to explain this! So should those of us needing or wanting to use voice commands switch over to Cortana for good? This will take some getting used to for
    those that have used the Kinect voice commands for years. I'm certainly willing to try to retrain myself to use Cortana if need be. And finally thank you for finally giving an understandable explanation for this problem. Saying that I fully expect Xbox to
    get back to being able to use voice commands in all areas sooon.
    Any news here?

    Yeah, having the same problem. Followed this issue in a number of threads, and there doesn't seem to be a solution. Microsoft hasn't made this issue a priority. Voice commands were the main reason I purchased an xbox. People with disabilities who depend
    on this functionality have contacted Microsoft to resolve this issue and have gotten nothing more than "we're working on it!" replies for over a year. This is shameful.
