Netflix video freeze when snapped

Title says all, audio continues but video stops when trying to snap with game.

Netflix has finally been updated

I'm getting the same problem where the screen freezes with sound playing when netflix is snapped

 

Netflix app update on Xbox One - no more SmartGlass OSK for search

When I try to snap the new Netflix while I'm playing a game the netflix stream freezes. The sound still plays but the video freezes. Anyone else having this problem??

 

I have the same exact problem. Always would snap Netlfix while playing then ever since the app updated I run into this issue. My console is up to date. I've restarted and tried it again, same result. Closed all other open apps, same thing.

 

Same problem here! It worked great literally hours before the update. I've noticed that it will play normally if you snap it while using an app like Achievements, but as soon as you switch to playing a game it freezes. It will also unfreeze if you push the
home button and minimize it to the tile. As soon as you click it it freezes again. It's clearly a coding problem. They need to fix this ASAP!

I'm having the same issue...Why did Netflix update it. They just broke it.

 

This blows, this was my favorite feature. And kinda miss the continue watching column.

I found a temporary fix if you have a 360 and an extra HDMI chord plug the xbox 360 HDMI into the xbox one

And then use the Netflix app on the 360

Go to your xbox one and instead of snapping the "Netflix" app snap the TV app

And voila

 

I'm sure you could plug in a computer with netflix and get the same result just wire it through the xbox one

 

I'm having the same problem, just bought my XBox One, Netlfix video is choppy when snapped, same thing with Youtube. These are my main snapped apps I wanted to use. Internet speed is good at 54.23 mbps. Other apps seem fine. I have a few days left on
my return policy, confused on what to do, should I exchange the unit? My fear is with all the talk of Xbox being underpowered it simply doesn't have the resources to do what it was designed to do. Chose Xbox over PS4 for this very feature. I'm not seeing
much on the topic when I google it. Hate to disconnect everything, exchange it, only to find out the new one does the same thing.

 

Jamesbnkc, don't go returning your Xbone just yet. This is a Netflix app problem, not an xbox problem. It normally works perfectly. I use my Xbone with Netflix snapped more often than not and have never had any problems. When netflix updated their app last
week it broke several features, snapping one of them. Give it a while longer for them to fix that and then issue your final judgment after seeing the Xbox running at its full potential.

Thanks Assassin...still got it so I'll patiently wait for an update. Loving my Xbox One...I can see myself using Netflix and especially Youtube in snap mode a lot, I thought it was odd that not many people had been talking about it till recently now, makes
sense that there is an issue with an update causing it.
