Netflix update is terrible

Netflix was my #1 used app on my XB1 and now I don't use it at all. I don't understand how they took an already perfectly fine functioning app, and just made every single thing about it terrible and broken. No kinect use, freezes all the time, scrolling
is horrific, and as of yesterday I just get error messages when trying to start it so now its not useable at all. FAIL.

 

I agree, the lack of Kinect support in the new version of Netflix has seriously hindered its value in our household.

 

This update ruins kinect functionality and is a huge step backwards. Im unsubscribed until this gets fixed.

I agree. When you are watching a show you cannot get back to the Netflix main menu without using the controller. My wife complained before me to the point she now only uses her tablet to watch Netflix.

 

This happens quite often with the new Netflix version available on Xbox One

It is showing the title as the "Hunger Games", yet displaying a picture of "Top Gear".

I also have noticed the voice recognition on the sign in screen, to choose which profile you would like to use does not work, a remote is required to go beyond this point. As well as no gesture controls work at all within the app. Not sure if this was intended
or not but I rather liked using the gestures in the older version of Netflix.

 

I seem to be having a better time with it than most, though I do have a major issue with the bug when you open the netflix app and your accounts pop up. I say "Profile 2" and the xbox registers what I say because kinect is awesome, but Netflix doesn't register
"profile 2" as the command even tho it is highlighted in the app... what?! annoying... I really like being able to just talk to my Xbox without using the controller, it's why I went BONE instead of PS4... Please fix this, it super irritating. Thanks!

 

I also found myself hating the new update, with errors abound, ruined smartglass support, and profoundly worse kinect support. Dealt with it until friday when I received the nw-7 error and was unable to use netflix at all.

Combination of a very poor app and broken service has led me to switch from netflix to amazon until its resolved. (Potentially permanently)

The annoying thing is that I was very happy with netflix until the update. It was my primary tv viewing option.

 

The last 2 days when I turn a show on Netflix it runs for like 5 minutes and I "can't play title right now please try later" message appears. And before I have a chance to press OK the Xbox one shuts off.. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix
it? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it..
