Netflix Timer/Video/Audio Display Top Left Corner

As the title suggests, I had a timer/video/audio display pop up today in the top left corner while watching a movie on Netflix. I cannot figure out how to remove it. I tried all the options in the "Audio & Subtitles" menu with no luck. Can anyone help?

Subtitles flash in top left corner

The subtitles flash on Netflix in the top left corner of the screen.

Are there any fixes for this? I have to restart the Xbox every time I need it fixed.

Am I Playing in HD or 480?

There are 2 options for cables in order to have "HD" video. Both options theoretically give you the same output.

HDMI cable (1 cable, works for both Audio and Video).

Component Cables (5 cables; left and right audio, Blue, Green and Red for video).

You can see your display settings from the System settings option under "Display". There, you will see if your display is set at 1080p, 1080i, etc.

 

I had the same issue recently. It's really annoying. I had to quit the app and then restart it to remove the time stamp.

 

I had to un-install and re-install to fix it for me.

 

Hard restart your console, thats all I had to do.
