Netflix subtitles flashing in the top left of the screen

On my new Xbox one s when I use subtitles on netflix they show properly but when they change (moves from character to character or a new sentence is started) it flashes them in the upper most top left corner being very distracting

I can only fix it by restarting the xbox every time I want it to go away.

Anyone with a fix or this issue?

I have updated the xbox and it still has this issue.

Subtitles flash in top left corner

The subtitles flash on Netflix in the top left corner of the screen.

Are there any fixes for this? I have to restart the Xbox every time I need it fixed.

Flashing Xbox symbol

OK I've searched and searched and haven't found an answer. While watching Netflix or streaming video, every so often there is a flashing white Xbox symbol on the top right of the screen, what on earth is it for??

If you haven't already, power cycle your console and delete/install the Netflix app.

When your program starts , flick left joystick down to highlight ' Audio & Subtitles ' , which appears at the bottom of screen. Hit A button, then choose ' subtitles off '

You can toggle them on off, using the joystick etc.

Check if there is a "flashing icon" in the top left/right of your screen. That's a "autosave icon". I believe the game warned you that NFSTR uses autosave and that you must wait for it to finish before shutting off the game.

The last Netflix app update caused all video I play in Netflix to start with subtitles turned on. Looks like a bug in the Netflix app.

Has anyone found a way to fix this?

I am having a similar problem. I am not home right now but, I will post what I can remember.

top left on, top right off, bottom left on and bottom right on. All lights are flashing red.

Blank screen with error message I think it's 83 but, I could remember wrong.

It's been doing this for several months now. I don't have the money to buy a new one.

Any ideas?
