Netflix slows my Xbox one

When my Netflix app is open on my Xbox one it slows my entire console way down. It takes several seconds for a selection to change or sometimes doesn't change at all. I've tried deleting the app and downloading again and moving too and from different storage.
It's been this way for a while but I haven't found anyone else with this problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

just looked on XBOX support twitter page X BOX is working with NETFLIX to fix their app for the XBOX so i hope they put back friends and the full screen option and also stop the auto play is so anoying and it slows everything down, keep on calling netflix
and xbox it will speed things up fast

hi ...apols in advance if this has been answered elsewhere in the forums.

i have an xbox one, a netflix membership, and a 3d projector/screen ...and am based in the uk

q. can i stream 3d movies from netflix, via my xbox one?

(am not even sure if netflix have an app on the xbox one, and even if so, whether they have a 3d library of films in the uk?)

I have the same problem. I have uninstalled/installed, signed in/out, and cleared the cache multiple times but it still slows the whole system down and is unusable. I know others with no problem at all using Netflix. My TV is older and I use an HDMI to DVI
adapter and I am wondering if it has something to do with HDCP between Xbox and TV? anyone else having this problem? By the way, Netflix works great on my 360 connected to the same router.

 

I use the original HDMI that came with the console and it used to work fine. So I'm not sure its the cable.

 

Hmmm, anyone have any ideas?
