Netflix slow loading and slow dashboard

Have you tried to clean your cache. You can find the steps to do this at
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache As far as the network goes there has been no issues that would cause these errors. It may also be that you need to reset your router. Hope this helps.

Clearing the cache does not seem to have worked. I was not prompted to download the latest update for Netflix, however. I thought that clearing the cache was supposed to wipe out game and app updates. I guess next up is power cycling the router and corssing
my fingers.

Thanks for the quick replies. No wireless headsets in the house at all. I will try clearing the cache though. Hopefully it helps. I really like having a device in the living room that can play DVDs and stream Netflix as well and don't really want to transplant
the PS3 (our primary Blu-Ray player) out of the basement.

Oh, and I know the white unit is not an S. I could not remember if it was marketed as "premium" or "pro" when it was new. Sorry for any confusion.

There is a wireless phone base within 3 feet of the console. However, resetting the router has fixed things. It didn't occur to me to reset it since other devices were working properly. Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction!

You see, the Xbox uses ports which PCs, Macs and other devices don't. The router reset cleared away an error in the programming (since the router programming lives in volatile memory, fluctuations in the power line and other natureal events can corrupt the
router programming) which was blocking or delaying the transmission of port (3074) used by the Xbox360 .
