netflix question on my xbox live account

Netflix has it's own separate login information. You would need to use that information in order to login to Netflix on the PC. Since you are located in Canada, it would give you the Canadian Netflix.

Well from your question there are two totally different scenarios. One possible solution if you were to be playing Call of Duty for example, and your wife wanted to watch Netflix, might be to create another Xbox Live account (yes, you will need to purchase
a Gold subscription) for your wife to use. While you are playing games in the living room, your wife can log on to the second account, then log in to your Netflix account (you only need one Netflix account for this.) But I also see you have another problem,
if you wanted to watch Netflix in the living room, and your wife wanted to watch a different program on Netflix in the bedroom. For this to happen, you would need not only 2 Xbox accounts but also 2 Netflix accounts.

Requiring an Xbox Live account for something that has NOTHING to do with Xbox Live is completely silly. My family was watching Netflix through my Xbox Live account, setup that way simply because I'm the one with the Netflix account, so it made sense to sign
in under my Xbox Live Account.

I'm at a friends house and we fired up the old Halo 3 to have some Zombie fun, only to have my family ask why their Netflix stopped working. I understand you need Xbox Live to play games, chat, and download apps, but it's simply unacceptable to get booted
off Netflix because you sign in from another console.

I WILL NOT be renewing my Xbox Live Gold when it runs out, and will continue to enjoy my Enterprise Windows 7/8.1/10 on all our PC's.

Currently, it is not possible to have two active Netflix accounts on the same Xbox console. When you sign in to a Netflix account in the Netflix app for Xbox, the app signs in to all Xbox accounts that are connected to the same Microsoft account.

To fix this problem, you can create a new Microsoft account for each of you. Once you have your own Microsoft accounts, you can sign in to your own Netflix accounts in the Netflix for Xbox app.

Once you are signed into your new Microsoft account, you will be able to sign into your Netflix account.
