Netflix Player Controls Are on Crack

My console told me today that the Netflix app had an update available, so I had it download and install it.

Everything in the UI looks the same, but the in-player controls have turned into a Jack Russell Terrier that's eaten a whole bag of espresso beans.

1. Seeking is, at the absolute slowest, at about 900x normal playback speed as opposed to the standard 2x. I blew through the entire NCIS episode in less than two seconds.

2. Pressing the (B) button to back out of the player doesn't work anymore. It acts like it's going to exit and then goes back in.

With the Netflix update, parental control blocks the Netflix app. Before, parental control blocked individual movies on Netflix which is how it should work.

 

Please help! I can't take parental password off.

I've forgotten the password on the parental controls and I can't play any games or watch Netflix. Please help.

 

Good news is that they fixed the app so it actually takes IR input on first boot! Bad news is that yep, my player controls are also on crack, even after an uninstall and reinstall. Even changing the audio track/subtitle options are kind of glitchy, but
FF/RW are definitely broken as hell and unusable.

 

So does anyone here have an up-to-date Netflix app that actually works? Because I find it incredibly hard to believe their QA missed this one.
