Netflix playback not working

Yesterday I watched a movie on Netflix stopped it and came back to it minutes later and it started right back at the beginning of it. No matter what picked same thing it worked fine the day before. I tried a hard reset or whatever its called
no change. Playback works every time on my 360 & blu ray player. Chatted with Netflix who sent me to page that said unplug modem & router for no less than 30 sec. Didn't fix it it also recomended signing out & back in same result. Rechatted with them and they
flagged the system so their tech people will know about it and fix it somehow. And since it happened with every thing I just picked 1 thing and explained the problem. The person I chatted with told me to say it was happening on the Xbox One so I did. Anyone
else having this problem? Also I let the modem & router unplugged for 2 min. Giving it a little extra time to rest. Also don't know if I should uninstall & reinstall app. Since being flagged & reporting it in case they're trying or about to look into the problem.

Netflix app looks dodgy on 4k TV

Hi all,

Just got an xbox one s and a 4K tv - Sony 9300xd.

4K works fine in the xmb and the TV resolution is working but the quality of the netflix app is terrible.

Everything is bigger and not as clear, menus, 1080 playback etc.

I am not running 4k netflix account - but this should effect the look of the app and normal 1080p playback

As the resolution has increased from 1080p to 3840x2160p if there was a resolution issue shouldn't it be smaller and not bigger?

If I turn my TV back to 1080p everything looks fine again.

Is it possible to force an application like netflix into 1080p instead for 4k? or is there any other options?

Need help with my Netflix app

I didn't need to sign in to my network as I am using a wired network and the xbox just connected. The netflix app is still working fine. The only other issue I have is worth a slightly choppy playback on iplayer.

 

Same problem for me and I have not been able to resolve it either.

 

Mine still won't work just checked. I started this hoping mine wasn't the only one doing it

 

Mine is doing this too, doesn't remember the playhead position of previous watches

 

There was an issue with restarting a program using Netflix on the Xbox One. It has since been fixed for everyone.

 

Most of the movie tiles are grey as oppose to showing a title and if I watch a movie on my surface the Xbox one app does not update for playback. This has now been going on for a couple days.

 

@tolocohc - for future reference it would be better for you to create your own thread for an issue. Please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds to see if that helps. If it does not then please create a new thread detailing what you've
tried and someone will try to help out.
