I've been watching Netflix on my tablet by tethering my phone internet to it while on holiday and have not had one buffer. I think I'm keeping my subscription after the free month, it's been awesome.

To be honest I have been more interested in Stan than Netflix as I like some of the content better but because I am with iiNet I get free quota if I am with Netflix so that could seal the deal. The competition between Stan and Netflix is quite interesting
to see with all the commercials on tv etc lately though.

Eh just as we start to warm to having it here the government here in Australia is looking to get their piece of the pie by taxing it.

I heard Microsoft, Google and Apple are being investigated with dodging Australian GST. Looks like the Australian Government wants more than a piece of pie at the moment. I also heard internet traffic has slowed down a fair bit since the release of Netflix.

Last night I watched aliens vs monsters a Disney movie, no buffering. Best TV-like app EVER released for New Zealand on Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. Netflix experience is awesomeness. I'm actually using the app more than I do the Youtube app now. Others may say
it isn't a TV app, but I said TV-like app. Have an happy weekend everyone.

I just stumbled across another interesting video movie. Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. 2012 M 1h31m HD 5.1 I'm on my Xbox 360 console's Netflix App. I've seen trailers about it but never the full movie. Going to squeeze it in before I have to go to bed. I love
how the picture quality is good and that there's no buffering while watching videos even if you have ADSL Broadband speeds.

Interesting affect this streaming TV has for online gamers here in Aus/NZ, for the past week including weekend I seem to be the only one with 4 bars on any COD game and therefore the one who is hosting. At first I thought it was the normal NZ/Aus lag until
I noticed most players names where Jayden, Jaiden or Jaydyn and then I realized, nope, these are Aussies from the burbs. Seriously though guys, check it out.

Its the closest thing to a real TV app that has been released ever on xbox for New Zealand anyways. If I were Australian and in some ways I wish I was born in Australia I might have higher expectations.

Netflix is cool the NZ content is pretty good. I keep watching A 2nd Chance, also watch H20 Just Add Water and some other stuff. I say this thread is meant for New Zealand and Australians since it came out for us last week and Americans are so use to it
but others can contribute. I don't hear many NZ'rs moaning about lack of content, well Netflix is like the first ever closest app to a TV app which has ever been released on Xbox 360 and Xbox 1.

I told a few of my friends about it too even some American friends and they said cool and awesome.

I remember when Xbox 1 first Launched. It was sub par. It left out over half the Features Xbox 360 had. And Microsoft locked out Voice Commands for NZ locale. I had to change it to Australia Locale to unlock it. A few months ago, they changed it and added
English Australia English US and stuff so I select English Australia and Locale New Zealand and can use it. If I select none in language and have it on NZ locale, voice commands is locked. Netflix isn't the only one to restrict content. Microsoft for sure
does it too. There are many other Xbox apps which are barred from Australia and New Zealand. It's actually really easy for New Zealanders to live and school and work in Australia due to both governments having a good rapport. I'd say Netflix is awesome. It
still has a list of movies and programs which you just can't get on Blu-ray or DVD or digitally here unless you go to some notorious sites. I'm sure Netflix is going to get better. It just got released here last week so we shouldn't expect to see a bajillion
movies and programs and everything that has ever being on TV and movies around the world, at this stage.

What I forgot to mention is that I have faith Netflix will bring it in line with the US version, I've read things where they want to secure 'global' rights for content, so instead of doing it on a per country basis, they could secure the rights to whatever
for the whole of their service. I don't think there is an issue to push because Netflix aren't stupid, they want to succeed and have been. It's pretty clear if the service lacks content in a years time, only an idiot would stay signed on.

Also because a large majority have theatrically been doing the wrong thing, why should I find the service sub par? I haven't been using Netflix for years or illegally downloading, so this service is the *** to someone like me, though I do get your point.

One last thing, I did some calculations and I usually spend 40 - 50 dollars on one season of a TV series, so Netflix being $124 a year I only need to watch approximately 3 seasons of a TV series and I'm already saving money. House of Cards, Lost and mad
men, here I come!

First, Australians and New Zealanders complain we don't get Netflix in our corner of the world. When Netflix released this week, we're still saying something like it's not worth it or hardly anything? Sure it won't have all movies/programs or be completely
LIVE TV for our countries or have the content which US and UK people get, but the apps out and you get the first month free, so be happy and grateful cuz I am. You can ask to have it cancelled or renewed anytime. For New Zealand, this has been the FIRST closest
thing to a TV app which has ever been released on Xbox 1 and Xbox 360. Quickflix is kind of rubbish. I've seen several movies and TV series which I'm into available on NZ Netflix. I know several of my American friends go to sleep and leave their consoles on
Netflix (or Youtube). I sometimes want to leave my Xbox on overnight but if I do I find myself waking up %^P* I mean we're suppose to get 8 hours solid sleep a night and even I struggle with that. Xbox is just too awesome. I even take it with me on my phone
during the day. If you're sceptical about it, you'll definitely want to make sure you get *alerted* by Cortana AI when the free subscription is about to expire. You should be able to keep it in your head though. Good night kiwis and kangaroos.
