    So I have an Amazon 4K FireStick, and recently I just upgraded to the Xbox One X from the Xbox One S. I hooked up up so it displays 4K resolution in settings, so It should already be displaying things in 4K. Games look great. But recently, I just noticed
    that when I watch movies or shows on my FireStick, it will say it plays in UHD 4K. I'll turn on my xbox, go to the exact same show or movie I was looking at on the Firestick, and it says it can only display it in HD 1080p. I have the Netflix Premium, so I
    should be able to watch the 4K shows in full 4K. I can easily watch 4K on my FireStick, but for some reason on my Xbox, it doesn't even give me the option. I don't think it's a Netflix thing because, again, I can watch 4K Netflix just fine on my FireStick.
    But my Xbox will only play Netflix in 1080p. Help me out?

    Xbox HDMI-In is only HDMI 1.4, it doesn't support 4K :(

    Go to settings>TV&Display options>Video Output and then you will have the option, under setup, to chose 4kTV details and see all the features as well as opt in/.out of some.

    I thought that may be the case. But then I wondered why my 4K Amazon FireStick can still play everything in 4K. I mean, I can just watch all the 4K stuff on the FireStick and call it a day. But it just bothers me that I finally got a 4K tv and the Xbox
    One X and it won't play Netflix in 4K.

    Hi, it could be because due to the current situation with Covid19 all streaming services like Netflix Amazon etc have reduced your bandwidth and movies in 4K are not currently offered
