Netflix on XBox One: Menu auto scrolling issues

Every time I open the Netflix app, if I set the controller down, it automatically and quickly scrolls through the different selections on the main menu. This is really annoying and it makes it very tricky to make a selection. I've tried quitting the app
and even uninstalling it, but nothing has worked. My controller works fine on other apps and in games, so this issue only happens when I'm on the Netflix main menu. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? Thanks.

Ok searched everywhere and can't seem to find an answer to this.

When using Netflix on Xbox One both the smartglass app on Windows 10 and the built in controller to Windows 10 Xbox app have the same issue.

The issue is that scrolling doesn't work, the on screen buttons (yellow, blue, red, green) do work.

Both apps connect to Xbox with no issues and scrolling works with no problems on the console but just not within Netflix.

Tried using Smartglass on Android and scrolling within Netflix works perfectly so this issue seems windows 10 related.

Anyone else experiencing same or know a fix ?

Sorry but there is no way to change that except if Netflix decides to.

 

I am experiencing this same issue. Sometimes turning off and on the controller fixes it for a short time. But I think that's just coincidence.

 

I am having the same issue. It scrolls up endlessly. Any other screen (like hitting the B button) I can't move to select anything. Even the intro profile selection when you first start the app I can't move, only the A button works there. I've uninstalled/reinstalled,
full power down, controller off/on...nothing works

 

Omg...it was a wired controller plugged in (normally use my wireless) with the analog stick pressed up (cord wrapped around it). Check all active controllers lol. But it's funny it doesn't affect any other app.

 

May just be the controller. Had this issue with the dashboard. Some games in made no difference but on Rainbow 6 it was really noticeable and with Overwatch, I couldn't even choose a menu option. Ended up having to get a new controller.
