Netflix on xbox 360

My Xbox 360 was a gift from a friend about a year ago. I don't game much, but I often use my phone's hotspot to watch Netflix. About two weeks ago it stopped connecting even though my Hotspot has good signal. Tonight I found out I had been locked out of
my Microsoft account and I got it unlocked. But it still will not connect to my hotspot. What do I need to do?

A Netflix subscription and an Xbox Live Gold subscription are 2 different things. To watch Netflix on your Xbox 360 you will need to have Xbox Live Gold and a Netflix subscription.

I found a temporary fix if you have a 360 and an extra HDMI chord plug the xbox 360 HDMI into the xbox one

And then use the Netflix app on the 360

Go to your xbox one and instead of snapping the "Netflix" app snap the TV app

And voila

Try this. I did not make up this method I got it from someone.

Power on your Xbox 360 and press the guide button (The X button in the center) on the Xbox 360 controller to bring up the menu. Then navigate to the "Settings" blade on the left side of the menu. Use the control stick to scroll down and select "System Settings."
Then press A.

Select "Memory" from the menu, followed by "Hard Drive" and finally "Games."

A list will populate with all your saved data. Scroll through the list and delete all entries that have the word "Netflix" attached to them. This effectively deletes your account on the Xbox 360.

Log in to the Netflix account associated with your Xbox 360 console (using a computer) and select "Netflix Ready Device Activation" from your "Account" page. Then choose the Xbox 360. Once you have selected the Xbox 360, use the "deactivate" function to
remove the link between your console and the Netflix account.

Find the Xbox Live marketplace (on your Xbox 360) and download the Netflix instant queue streaming utility. Once the application has been downloaded, launch it from the dashboard.

Go back to Netflix on your computer and log in to the new account you want to use on your Xbox 360. Go back to the "Netflix Ready Device Activation" section and add the Xbox 360. You will receive an activation code.

Netflix app on the Xbox 360. You may wish to continue to troubleshoot using our support article entitled Netflix app on Xbox 360 help. It may also be worth
your while to
clear your 360's system cache as well as a precaution.

Give the other troubleshooting steps a try and please continue to update us with the results.
