Netflix now has Choppy (not smooth panning) picture since update on xbox one

I have noticed that the Netflix App now has a bad, choppy picture since the last update. The picture does not pan or scroll smoothly anymore. I have compared it to other streaming apps on xbox one and even the netflix app on 360. They all work perfectly.
It is not the motionflow on my sony tv it is the actually app. Movies are unwatchable now.

Anyone else noticed this?

Constantly getting disconnected

Since d latest update my xbox has been disconnecting every now and den.its also.a bit choppy at times.its 100% not my isp.i think its to do wit d latest update ........??

I am having the same problem. The once smooth transitions between apps and screens is now incredibly choppy. The frame rate has dropped significantly, and it happens even before I start a game. I am hoping an update will fix this soon.

 

Mine has been pretty whacked out lately. I've been watching Friends and the video looks jumpy and twitchy sometimes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it a couple times but no luck. I didn't notice it when I was watching Daredevil but it's pretty
annoying the sound seems ok though.

 

Yep. Definitely jittery playback. Definitely related to last update. The story link below talks about how the intent was to juice up playback, but apparently it went in the wrong direction.

Don't expect Microsoft (or Netflix) to fix this problem anytime soon. It took them six months to fix Netflix playback problems following XB1 launch.

I've switched back to watching Netflix on Apple TV.

 

Thanks for the Update Raolo. Let's hope more people speak up about it to get it moving. I've moved to Apple Tv to watch Netflix but contemplating cancelling all together if this isn't fixed soon.

 

I've noticed it on other content as well. I guess it's back to Apple TV for me too. Kind of bummed, I like being able to switch over to Netflix fast from TV. Thanks for the help.

I have this issue and started noticing it pretty recently, a week or so ago. The judder/shutter is so bad that I don't even turn on xbox one anymore and use my new TVs Netflix player. HBO Go and Amazon does not seem to be affected by it. it is really very
disappointing, I thought I had finally found my universal media player in xbox one but i guess it was not meant to be.

This almost makes me think, there is no QA testing. how can a very popular app be broken like this.

 

Having this same issue on Xbox 360. Loading froze at 25% once, had to exit and re-enter app to make it work. Then tons of jumping video and choppy sound. I have FiOS, this is not a net issue. Switching to that other system until this gets fixed.

 

Hey guys i think i fixed the netflix issue on the xbox one. I had to clear the cache on the device. Just unplug the power cable for 30 seconds and then plug it back in to clear the cache and the netflix app should work great! Hope this helps you guys out!
