    Netflix not launching


    I have been trying to open the netflix app on my xbox one. Every time I open it it starts to load then crashes and boots me back to the home screen. I uninstalled it and downloaded it again and this is still happening. Anyone else had these issues?

    Xbox 360's latest update rant!

    I haven't tried launching IE, but Netflix works fine for me after the update.

    Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, History not launching

    For a few weeks now none, of our video apps have been launching. We've talked with Xbox support a few times and done everything they could suggest but nothing is working. When we try to launch the apps they all give us an error that the app is unavailable.
    When we get the error on Netflix it does give us the option to sign out but we are unable to actually choose it. We can still connect to Xbox Live (tried on COD) and even launch the Today app but none of these other videos apps. Any ideas?

    Sorry to hear about the Netflix issues!

    Let's try some basic troubleshooting steps and move forward from there. I'll provide some steps below:

    • Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down.
    • Unplug everything for a few minutes.
    And if that doesn't quite get you back on Netflix, Do you by any chance on your router settings have an option for WMM which is WiFi Multimedia?

    Go to your home screen go to notifications there should be a notification for Netflix that says launch click launch and boom it worked for me

    This is a known issue that we are currently working to correct. In the meantime, you can still access Netflix and other apps from the Quick Launch menu: Guide > Games > Quick Launch > All > (Y) to hide demos > Netflix (or other app)
