Netflix, Lovefilm etc look horrible on Xbone

The Amiga 1200 was my first system too, loved it, had so many great games.

An I always laugh at the memebers who spend 5 paragraphs telling us how they are'nt fanboys ect but post in every thread EVERY day, an also appear to get out of bed and run to xbox.com.

I think potentially xboxone was doomed as it appears to be a OAP's console of choice. When you find out 40+ year old men were arguing about frames per second or 1080p over 720p the whole thing becomes very embarrasing.

NOTE TO MICROSOFT-

Your target audience needs to be teen to 35 for a long life. You don't want to go the way of Bingo lol, (Bingo is a OAP's game struggling to get the YOOF to replace the dieing out customer base)

 

You say that but all I've heard on Xbone online is screaming children, very annoying. One of the worst traits of 360 carried over IMO.

Anyway, this thread has been derailed too much. The fact is Microsoft need to address their rubbish streaming quality.

Oh come on, let people like me have some fun, after all people like me have no life and need something to brighten up my day.

As for "embarrassing" ...

Not as embarrassing as someone over 2 months ago making a thread about how they were enjoying COD in glorious 1080p on their PS4, something the Xbox One couldn't handle. Then the same person quite a while after said they only just purchased a PS4, something
odd there?

No doubt when/if this person see's this, they will reply with ... "What you on about" ... "Your losing it" ... but as sad as I am, no life etc, I have a very good memory, something they need especially with all the little fibs they tell

 

There has always be idiot fan boys on forums but this generation is the worst ever, yes there were a couple on the xbox 360 boards early on but the community got shot of them very quickly. There were thousands of posters then but now there are less than
50 regulars on the UK forum, this is down to bad decisions from Microsoft when the forums changed around 4 years ago and bad modding (current mod excluded) because he's doing his best. IMHO they may as well shut it down because to get to anything worth reading
you have to trawl through loads of crap, it's the same 6 or 7 idiots with multiple accounts that are responsible.

 

Well i'm knocking on 40's door and have been a gamer since the ZX81 and Atari 2600.

The amount of money spent over those years is insane! I've ended up with the system I want to own, paid for with my hard earned pennys.

As for streaming Netflix and Lovefilm, I have TiVo for that. My Xbox is for games.

(I have a 'Man Corner' rather than a 'Cave' lol.)

I bet it's not even 6 or 7 different people, 3 maybe 4 people. I won't bring up old threads or names but I remember one user that has used these forums for years now being caught out quite a while back for creating a few silver accounts.

Someone mentioned it a few weeks back, why do a few feel the need to hide behind a silver account? why can't they just post with their "real" GT? this puzzles me completely. This is a "discussion" forum, people won't always agree, more often than not they
don't but to feel the need to hide to post your thoughts, well, says it all really.

I saw this comment and feel the need to strongly disagree with the point being made. Age means nothing when it comes to games. Anyone at mid-age up are partly responsible for games being around today in the way that they are. When we were younger, playing
games was nowhere near as accepted as is it today, back then. I remember getting picked on for it to tell you the truth. Its a hobby and there is never an expected age restriction on having fun. This forum us tucked away by design and it has nothing what so
ever, to do with the age of people posting here. If everyone over the age of 25 stopped posting, this place would have minimal interaction. More so than it does now.



Now anyone that knows how I am, knows that I am fairly laid back and approachable. I see some arguments as debates and this thread is no exception. The set discussion point was an opinion rather than a question and that's perfectly okay. We wouldn't get
anywhere without input from several different perspectives. With that being said however, there are more constructive ways to deliver a point when creating a thread.



Horrid, I have used the Xbox One to watch some stuff and the quality on my end seems to be fine. You are right though, this thread has spun off topic and I am going to lock it down. If you have feedback you want to provide then please head over to the feedback
section and post there. People here are not afraid to admit that the console has faults. I am one of them and I have no issue what so ever, telling it how it is.
