True, but lovefilm and netflix both have free trials that you could use at the same time.

To continue to use these services on your xbox you would need to subscribe to both xbox live and the external movie service (netflix, lovefilm, $ky etc)

    Netflix or Lovefilm?

I've had both and I prefer Netflix over lovefilm,I think there's plenty to watch on Netflix, alot more than lovefilm, specially if you like boxsets like me and in Hd 5.1 as well something lovefilm is yet to do and also Netflix on the move is cool if you own

Watch Netflix most night (just finished Jericho) and the HD quality is fine. Usual Horace nonsense.

  6. Watch Netflix on a number of devices, including 360, PS3, Kindle Fire HD, XB1, W8 PC.

Personally, I think the Kindle does it best. XB1 is very good as is the PC, 360 and PS3. However, the PS3 seems to suffer from a bit of stuttering at times but not to the extent that it makes it unwatchable.

Overall I really don't see that much difference between them, but if I wanted to troll I would probably say that.....

  7. Right.... So Microsoft consoles do not display Super HD (1080p) and are blurry and not sharp in comparison to Super HD, and you CAN'T see the difference?

    Maybe a trip to Specsavers?

It's cringe seeing these posts from people denying the simple fact that Xbone, as a streaming device is terrible. Can't even do real HD unless I stick in a Bluray.

  11. Super HD does look better... you can definitely tell the difference.

Whether or not it actually works for you is down to your ISP and your hardware though.

All the major UK ISPs support it as of mid 2013 as does a lot of hardware, last time I checked neither 360 or X1 did though.

It also depends on your connection speed obviously, requiring up to 7mbps (the stream speed is dynamic and fluctuates depending on what's happening on screen).

    .

If I want the best picture quality on Netflix I tend to watch either on my Virgin Tivo, PS3 or PS4 as I know they support Super HD.

I've never seen super HD before (didn't even know that existed until now lol) so I can't compare. All I know is the HD picture quality is good for me, if it isn't for the OP then maybe you're just to used to super HD now.

Before the Xbox One, I was using my PS3 for Netflix because for me it was a lot better than the 360.

    @ImDrunky ^^^

That's because Neflix on PS3 is 1080p... On 360 it only does 720p.

  15. ^^ Netflix also 1080p on Wii U and PS4.

If we don't complain about these little things to Microsoft and just accept inferior stuff then they will never improve it. A simple patch by them is all it needs for people like me who watch a lot of Netflix/Lovefilm.
