Netflix Launch Error when Launching Netflix on Main XBOX after watching Netflix on 2nd Xbox

Hi,

I have a consistent issue where by i login and watch Netflix on my main Xbox just fine.

I then turn this off and go to another xbox in bedroom, and resume watching netflix, it may or may not work, and will need re-installing to function.

I move back to MAIN xbox, and same occurs, i need to reinstall netflix for it to launch.

This ONLY occurs, when i successfully watch Netflix on another console, (all in my home and using same XBL and Netflix account.

I only watch one at a time, but i cannot now watch netflix without uninstalling and re-installing.

This is far from ideal, i own multiple Xboxes, and it seems to be drastically hindering my ability to use the product effectively.

This problem has been around since Xbox one S, and now with the Xbox one X, the issue is not resolved, so it must relate to the OS, or something that has not been addressed with software updates, can anyone look into this or has
anyone experienced similar issues with needing to re-install netflix after watching it on another console in the home.

Unresolved issue with Netflix

I consistently get Error Code 8007274c while watching Netflix. Here is the issue. I am watching Netflix on a title stream(one show after another) and then I get an error saying Netflix cannot do a playback so I click OK. I get sent to the Xbox home and
cannot connect to Xbox Live because of this Error Code.

I have tried deleting system cache, deleting and reinstalling the app, unbinding and rebinding the netflix account. Now how can I get a resolution?

try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

I haven't experienced this myself, but I will try and test it later today.

But for now, are your consoles set to Energy safe mode or Instant on?

If they are set to Instant on, then you could try to see if a power cycle will allow you to use Netflix without the need to reinstall it.

To manual power cycle the console follow the steps mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

How did you guys get Netflix working on the Xbox One? I cannot get it to play video. Netflix app launches and logs in, then goes to main page. I select any title there and I get the percentage buffering display, which goes to about 40%, then goes back
to the main screen ( no video plays at all ).

Netflix support isn't useful here as they don't have a clue nor do they seem to care that they don't have a clue.

Here's what I did. If I missed a step or a setting, please let me know what it is?

1) Unbox the new X1, plugin and setup on my network

2) log into Xbox Live

3) download/install Netflix app

4) launch the netflix app and login to Netflix

5) launch a move

...

you could try this,

Turn HDR off on your Xbox...only turn it on when you are going to watch HDR content on Netflix. Netflix puts your TV into HDR mode as soon as you launch the app so your TV thinks it's HDR content even
when it's not.

What error do you get when you try to launch these apps? Are you still getting the error after a delete/reinstall of them? I use Netflix on my Xbox One frequently with no issues.
