Netflix issue

Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but last night while watching Netflix, the control panel at the bottom of the screen,I.e play/pause/ff etc, kept flashing up on the screen every second or so. Nothing I did stopped it and I had to shut down and
reboot the system in order to stop it. I tried going back to the home screen initially then going back into Netflix but the problem remained so I had no option but to reboot. This seemed to fix the problem for a hour or so, but then it did it again, however
this time the control panel only flashed up three times then stopped! Weird!

Anyone else had a similar issue?

Netflix issue

So the past two days, when I go to watch netflix, it immediately crashes on me. It doesn't even load anything at all. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, shutting down the device and turning it back on, and nothing has worked. It just automatically
crashes. HELPPPPP!!!

If you upgrade to Gold on the website (Xbox.com), it can take a few hours to reflect that on the console. Folks say that the Network area's Test Xbox Live Connection triggers recognition of your new status, and it quicker than re-downloading your profile
of course.

 

Howdy Epic,

Have you double checked that you've selected the option to Turn gestures off while watching video in your Kinect Settings?

I would also make sure that there's not something pressing against your control (if it's on) which might be causing it to try and select something.

Yeh I have gestures turned off and the controller was on a table beside me so I can't have been touching that either. I have since watched Netflix several times without the problem recurring, very strange! Will keep an eye on it and report back. I'm just
starting to watch Breaking bad so i'm sure if it is a problem it will manifest itself whilst working my way through all these episodes
