Netflix/Hulu shut down Xbox one

We just bought the xbox one assassins unity bundle pack in January, it arrived February 8th and we set it up. After one day of using it the Netflix and Hulu apps cause the Xbox to freeze and shut down without any error code. I've been talking to Xbox support
on Twitter for the last three days and it's getting me no where. So here's everything we've tried and it still continues to shut down, hard reset, plugging the power cord straight into the wall, uninstall both apps and reinstall, uninstall both apps for 24hrs
then reinstall (today). Our power cord is fine, it has a solid white light. The Xbox works perfectly when playing a game or just browsing through the home screen, the shut down ONLY happens when using Netflix or Hulu. I don't believe this is a hardware problem.

Xbox freezes and shuts down when watching Netflix or YouTube.

Exact same issue. Netflix and Hulu cause a hard shut down within 5 minutes every time, starting a few days ago.n I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps and doing hard shut downs. May do a factory restore next.

 

Xbox live and Apps suggestion

i understand that servers need to be worked on from time to time but making Xbox live a requirement to use other apps like Netflix and Hulu is just dumb those apps are not exclusive to Microsoft and we can go to any other device to access them so why
would you shut them down just because Xbox live is down ? my suggestion is leave all other apps Netflix, hulu, internet explorer etc.. that's not associated with Microsoft on. all we need is access to internet and we can connect to them theirs no need for
Xbox live for that.
