Netflix HDR

    Netflix HDR


    I have a xbr75x940D. When I boot netflix, it automatically switches HDR on. So if I watch something that is not in HDR, it is washed out and looks horrible. This has happened since day one of having the Xbox One S, so I am not sure how this is not fixed
    by now. I don't understand.

    Isn't this the same thread as this one you started a while back ?

    HDR on all content on netflix Netflix HDR :(

    Guess Netflix needs to update the App.

    you could try this,

    Turn HDR off on your Xbox...only turn it on when you are going to watch HDR content on Netflix. Netflix puts your TV into HDR mode as soon as you launch the app so your TV thinks it's HDR content even
    when it's not.

    Does your TV and console support HDR? If it does, try to disable when you going watch netflix. Apparently netflix already has HDR.

    Add me to the list. I have a Vizio M55-D0, firing up Netflix causes washed out colors and is system wide until Netflix is exited out of. Even when playing an HDR title (Marco Polo) HDR isn't turning on and the colors are still washed out. Using SmartCast
    HDR works just fine with Netflix.

    Netflix: No UHD on XBOX One S

    I can verify this issue...Netflix UHD does not work on Xbox One S. I have a Vizio M55-D0 with the latest firmware enabling HD10 support. My TV is now recognized by the One S video settings as 4K HDR capable. I am able to enable HDR support and it works beautifully
    with the Blu-Ray app (Mad Max 4K Blu Ray playing 4K, 24fps, HDR as verified by the Vizio settings app). However when I start Netflix, the screen flashes, colors mute, and video fails to switch to HDR or 24fps. Netflix app is clearly broken right now for HDR.
    If I switch HDR off on the One S, Netflix app is fine, plays 4K correctly, colors are fine obviously no HDR.

    HDR games and HDR content on Netflix on my PS4 Pro, Xbox One S ticks HDR by default but says the TV does not support it even when it's forced on in with the HDR-Game or HDR-Cinema profiles.
