NETFLIX HDR PROBLEM

Hi every one, i have the new xbox one x, there is a problem with the netflix app. in fact the netflix is always in hdr, even on the main menu. Even in the series or movies wich are not in hdr.

Could you please fix that, it is really annoying.

Xbox one S, Netflix dims screen when HDR is enabled

Same problem on Hisense M7000. UHD Blu Ray playback is stunning but Netflix HDR is dull, brightness dims as soon as you play it.

Please get this fixed asap as it renders HDR netflix useless for me.

 

Sony TV KDL-32W660E and HDR Support

Same problem with the KDL-32WE613 My display has HDR and 10 bit output, works fine with Youtube and Netflix HDR content directly on the TV Apps and fine with
HDR games and HDR content on Netflix on my PS4 Pro, Xbox One S ticks HDR by default but says the TV does not support it even when it's forced on in with the HDR-Game or HDR-Cinema profiles.

 

I completely agree. One of the reasons I bought a one X was for the Netflix app with Dolby Atmos. The sound is fabulous but it is completely unwatchable. The black levels are way off and it all looks washed out. Please fix this ASAP.

 

The problem lies with Netfix. Microsoft provides to UWP developers all the instructions needed to correctly handle mixed HDR/SDR content. As well as dynamic refresh rate switching.

Xbox, Netflix, Prime Video. Why do they judder?

 

Yup. I too and really bothered by this. Makes the Netflix app completely unusable for me. I understand that it's a Netflix problem, but wouldn't Microsoft be the best person to contact them to get this resolved? It makes my $500 Xbox one x unusable as
an all in one media device. And even though it's a Netflix issue, it reflects poorly on the Xbox one x.

I shouldn't have to revert to using a 4 year old $150 Nvidia shield tv as my all in one media center, but because of this issue with Netflix...that's exactly what I do. It's really annoying and this needs to get fixed.

 

The HDR issue is ongoing. Black levels have been fixed.

 

Same issue here....really frustrating.
