Netflix freezing problem

When I am watching something on Netflix on my 360, about 20 min into each show the video freezes but the audio keeps going then when I try to pause it, it does. However, when I try to hit the home button you can hear it open, but the netflix show is frozen
in front of it. Then the xbox freezes completely and I have to reboot. Any ideas to help prevent this???

New One Netflix Update

I was having this problem, too, but I think it was coming from the fact that I was just cutting the One off without exiting Netflix first. Do you do that? If so, exit Netflix first and then cut your One off. The next time you try to load it, it shouldn't freeze up.

I've been having a lot of issues with my Netflix app on the One here lately. The first time I load the app, it immediately freezes up and I have to exit out of it and reload it. Anyone else having this problem?

 

I have the same issue on both consoles. When I launch Netflix, it just froze the whole console and there is nothing you can do other than turning off the console. Running other games is fine but not Netflix. As soon as it is selected, the screen didn't
even change. The whole thing just froze stiff... I can't even go to Xbox Home. It's like the OS hit an INT3...

 

I have run into this issue as well. Until they fix this ongoing issue the only thing I found works is clearing the system cache, disconnecting from the network, powering the console down and unplugging any accessories for about 2 miniutes, then restarting
and reconnecting to the network. Its long and annoying but it was the only thing that worked for me

 

Having the same problem. Netflix freeze when I launch it, does not work to exit to home screen. Have to restart the console every time. I did get Netflix to work, but after 40 minutes into a movie it kicked me out of xbox live for some reason :/ Had to restart
cause couldn't sign back into Netflix, now it doesn't work again.

 

I'm having the exact same issue as well. Seems to have started when they did the last Netlix app upgrade.

 

I am getting this same problem. Does anyone know if anyone is looking into this or are they working on next gen projects now? I am sure with One out 360 problems are not a huge issue. HELP this is annoying! I am watching it on my laptop sitting on my couch
in front of a huge television!

 

I too am having the locked up system upon starting Netflix. This has occurred for months now resulting in me having watch via my pc. Has this anything to do with my Live Gold running out? I ask because it stopped working around the same time my Gold membership
ended.

I'm having the same problem. We really need to find a way to get Microsoft on this. It's super annoying.

 

This has been happening to me for weeks. I've got serious xbox rage now. Netflix freezes the machine and I have to power down everything to get it going again. I will not be forced into buying an xbox one because microsh*t doesn't care about the 360s anymore.

i am sure they are relying on us to come up with a solution rather than them.

 

after talking to netflix support. you have to delete the saved game data and title update data for netflix in your system settings storage all devices section. this fixed the problem but it might be a temporary fix
