Netflix Dolby Vision Issues

I have an LG oled65e8pua (TV model). I don't know if that will factor in. When using the Netflix app, it kicks over to Dolby Vision display mode. When in Dolby Vision, I have a number of issues. The screen may flicker, display random colors, show specs,
or become blank. This is only on the Netflix app when using Dolby Vision. All other 4K content performs as expected.

Are other experiencing this? It's been driving me nuts for a while now.

I have an LG oled c7 and watch netflix trough webOs .

By doing it this way you should get Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

Microsoft will roll out an sofware update for netflix Dolby Vision shortly.

For the moment Dolby Vision is not supported on the Netflix app via Xbox.

I hope they also update the blu ray player shortly because there is much more content available on 4k uhd blu ray.

I had the same issue, go to the display & sound settings, video output and untick the dolby vision option. Load Netflix check star trek has opened correctly then back to settings and re-tick the dolby vision option

Another Nuance came up. Now when streaming with dolby vision Off. Wnen I stream Dolby Content with Netflix through XBOX, within the XBOX settings upon launch of Netflix Dolby vision turns off ALLM in my XBOX and plays Dolby regardless of setting in the XBOX. And launching a game there after it does not turn off dolby vision for gaming or allow dolby vision, nor does it turn back on ALLM. I wanted to try to avoid changing the 4K options everytime I want to do something else.

I am a little bit confused. Dolby digital is an audio format, dolby vision is the HDR standard. Before I can give advice I just want to make sure I am advising on the right thing?

I'd start with a firmware check on your TV. I know dolby vision has some issues at launch on my LG.
