Netflix Dolby Atmos popping and crackling, distortion even with latest May 2020 updates.

I am having random popping and crackling only with Netflix on Xbox One. The Dolby Atmos app demos work perfectly and no crackling. Blu-Ray discs with Atmos work perfectly. This is a Netflix/Dolby/Microsoft issue. Netflix support was no help. Dolby is aware
of the issue.

Some people have suggested changing color depth, 120/240Hz settings, etc. ... I've done all of the above. If that was the cause, why would Xbox Movies app with Atmos titles sound perfect, but Netflix does not? It must be in the Netflix app design and the
way it sends or compresses Atmos streams.

Check to see if you have the May 2020 update available (standard, not Insider). It seems to have foxed all my known Atmos issues.

I installed the May 2020 update last night (May 17). I'm still having the same Atmos pops and crackling issues on Netflix and only Netflix. I suppose I'll try reinstalling Dolby Access and Netflix, again.

I have reinstalled Dolby Access and Netflix, still the same pops and crackling, although it seems less severe, I still can't use it. Anyone know anything about the 120/240Hz TV settings having something to do with this? Why would it only be on Netflix?

The issue you are explaining here is a known issue to the Microsoft team, but unfortunately, there is still no fix for it. There is one workaround for that: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower. But some users have previously
reported that it may not work always. If this workaround does not work for you, there is only one other solution for that. Just pray, do cold restart to your console try it again and pray that it would work this time. If still nothing then you need to switch
to other available choices and hope that Microsoft will soon fix it finally. Hopefully that would happen sooner than later.

is no help, I never had this issue before and I'm not quite sure how to help you fix this issue sadly.

Respectfully, thanks for the suggestion, but no thank you, I will not use Windows Sonic when I have already paid for and LOVE Dolby Atmos. My entire audio system is built around Dolby Atmos. I think there is no fixing this until Netflix decides to fix it.
I appreciate the help though.
