Netflix does not remember where I left off when watching TV shows or Movies

I noticed this issue while watching the first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on my Xbox One via the Netflix app. It forgets which episode I was on and where I was within it when the app is closed and reopened, like when turning the console off and on again
or when switching from Netflix to the BD player and back to Netflix.

Also, on an unrelated note, pressing R3 on the Xbox One Controller shows a small status screen on the top left of the screen while streaming a TV show or movie. If I want to access that with my Xbox One Media Remote instead of the controller, how can I do
that? I like seeing that screen as it tells me if I'm getting the full 1080 lines of resolution from the stream at any given point or not.

Netflix Static

So whenever I use netflix I notice this static fuzziness it not really noticeable until the show/movie is in a dark area it's more noticeable it gets sorta annoying especially when causally watching shows. Does anyone know how to fix this or tv setting that
will prevent this?

 

Xbox One NETFLIX issues.

Wondering if anyone is having this same issue I am having.

When I launch Netflix on Xbox One and start watching something, the first 10 seconds of the show I am watching freezes, and Netflix seems to buffer / load. Sometimes it will get to 100% and continue without problems but a lot of the times Netflix never gets
to 100% and I get an error that ''Netflix cant play this title right now''

This happens all the time on Xbox One but never on my PS4 or Xbox 360. My internet bandwith is 50/50mb so I know that is not the problem.. I tried re-installing the app on X1, re-signing in, changing the ethernet cord and direct connection to the modem -
and it still seems to happen.

And another issue I seem to have only on Xbox One is that Netflix does not seem to remember where I left off on a movie/show. I always need to change the episode and find where I left off.

I have the same problem, using the Windows 10 Netflix app it does not store the bookmark when you close or when you go back to browse.

This means it restarts the same episode every time, this is very annoying, every other Netflix instance on any other OS or any browser works fine, why is it that Microsoft apps are so rubbish!!!

If you're running into any problems with 3rd party apps, please contact the developers. In this case you should ask Netflix.
