    Netflix crashing network settings

So for the past few days whenever I try to use netflix on my xbox it makes my xbox disconnect from my wifi and erase the I.P address, Whenever I try to test connection I get a message saying "DNS is not resolving Xbox server names". I've tried all the
troubleshooting suggestions and none of them have worked the only way I've found to get the wireless connection to work again is to connect the console via lan cable for awhile but even then whenever I open netflix it happens again. I'm not sure if it matters
but my modem is a Huawei F2000.

    :)

Intermittent black screen, Xbox One X

I appreciate the feedback. I looked though the posts but those all seem to be related to app crashes, my Netflix app doesn't seem to crash but cause issues with my consoles display settings. You can still here full audio on the background, previews from
Netflix and the menu chimes/tones when moving around or using the home button.

I also don't use the Atmos settings, but I'll play with what I have it set on and see of that makes any changes.

Netflix issue vids not loading and crashing app

    Hello JoE TwEaKn MANE,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that Netflix is not loading videos all the way, and the application is crashing. Does an error message appear when you test the network and multiplayer connections in

    the network settings
? You can find out your download and upload speed by selecting, "detailed network statistics" in the network settings. What is your download and upload speed? We recommend

    power cycling
the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. If this does not resolve the issue; we suggest

    uninstalling
and reinstalling the application. Be sure to let us know the results!

Ignorance, misinformation, and a quote from Old Abe

For sure you say? I haven't had a problem with loading apps in Call of Duty, streaming Netflix or Prime, and the only time I've had any connectivity issues is when it's been down for maintenance, or FIFA 14 has completely crashed my network.

Some games freeze and crash on Xbox One X

I didn't try changing network settings. I'm no expert but I fail to see why network settings would crash a console. But who knows, I will keep this in mind. Thank you for sharing :)

    Xbox One NETFLIX issues.

Have you done a detailed network test in settings to see what you are getting? if that's all good id contact Netflix like mgzin66 suggested.
