Netflix Crashing and Stuttering

Intermittently, the Netflix app on my Xbox One will stutter and crash. I watched hours of Netflix without an issue for almost a month. Now, I can barely get through one show. I've tried hard resetting, uninstalling and re-installing the app, changing my
wireless router settings, and connecting my Xbox directly into my router and modem, and turning off the WHM settings on my router . Nothing is making a difference for long. I have other devices know my house, and they work fine with Netflix.

Man, I was hoping it was an easy fix. Mine's been stuttering and crashing a bunch, too.

Stuttering and Crashing. Possibly Overheating?

That seems a hardware issue with your HDD. I suggest you to send that console for repairs:

Same symptoms but on XBox360. Started in the last few weeks and seems to be getting worse. End credits on batman begins (which is almost static white text on black screen, so not heavy action) stall every 30 seconds or so for 1/2 second. Very unpleasant.

Add Netflix to the list.... also with the stuttering there is a green screen with only audio.

Since you mentioned Netflix is the only streaming service that this occurs with, let's start by making sure Netflix is the only app that is open. To ensure this, navigate to the Xbox One Home screen and close any apps that are listed under the primary 'Home'
tile (the bigger tile with the currently opened app).

To close apps, highlight any of the 4 tiles listed on the Home screen under the primary tile, press the menu button on your Xbox One controller, and select 'Quit'. Alternatively, you can hold the power button until the console has fully powered down, power
the console back up, and launch Netflix first.

Give both of those methods a shot and let us know how it goes.

Tried it a few other times throughout the day and the throughput got really bad. Didn't impact the stutter, it stuttered at 5800 as much as it id at 580K, just turned the video quality to crap.

Also ran a comparison and opened a network traffic monitor and what Netflix reports is significantly HIGHER than the actual throughput. Also ran Amazon Instant and the throughput was 7X higher on HD than Netflix was.

Anyway, poor video quality is definately throughput, but the stuttering is something else and impacts all streaming video for some reason.
