Netflix commands

This is ridiculous. My voice commands work to some degree but not nearly as well as they worked a few patches ago.

This just seems like the Microsoft way. They were ahead of the game with the Kinect but caved to social media.

They had voice-recognition early on but instead of making it better, they've made it worse. And now the world is moving to Voice Commands and they're going away from them.

Netflix has notoriously been a **** user interface when it came to the Xbox One and even worse when you tried to use voice control. I don't blame Microsoft for that. Amazon can work for a bit, but when you try to use the Confirm Screen "Yes/Cancel", you're
stuck unless you have your controller out.

You killed gestures. You've wrecked Voice Control. This was my first foray into the Xbox side of things (had a PS3 before my XBOne) and it looks like it will be my last. And yes, I tried "Cortana". Sad, sad. Disabled it after about a week of frustration.

there is more features on netflix xbox then any other device

(would only function with gold anyways)

Netflix voice commands are NOT highlighted in green, unlike the rest of the xbox apps, which is obviously confusing.

Here is a list of the Netflix voice commands:

Firstly, make the kinect go into listening mode by saying "xbox select"

While xbox is listening you can say:

(on profile select screen) "Profile one", Profile two" (etc....)

(when scrolling through lists on the Netflix home screen) "Show more" , "Show previous" , "Next list" , "Previous list"

(select a film/show to watch) "Select 1" , "Select 2" , "Select 3" (etc...) or "Play 1", "Play 2" (etc...)

(when on film select screen) "Play", "Play from beginning", "Add to my List" or "Remove from my list"

(Whilst watcing a show/film) "Xbox play", "xbox pause", "xbox fast forward", "xbox rewind", "xbox stop" (no need to say xbox select first with those commands)

(During a show or on select screen) "Back to browse" (takes to the Netflix home screen)

(Other commands when at the netflix home screen) "Exit Netflix", "switch profiles"

Remember to say "xbox select" to put Kinect into listening mode before using these commands.

Well its about time somebody took responsibility for this! This is the very first time anyone has tried to explain this! So should those of us needing or wanting to use voice commands switch over to Cortana for good? This will take some getting used to for
those that have used the Kinect voice commands for years. I'm certainly willing to try to retrain myself to use Cortana if need be. And finally thank you for finally giving an understandable explanation for this problem. Saying that I fully expect Xbox to
get back to being able to use voice commands in all areas sooon.

Any news here?
