Discus and support Netflix App Update in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So Netflix just updated on my Xbox One and now, none of the voice commands work.     Netflix App Update


    So Netflix just updated on my Xbox One and now, none of the voice commands work. Anyone else having this same problem? After saying "Xbox Select" none of the on screen options are highlighted with green text informing me of the voice commands. I've said
    everything to the app and nothing responds. I didn't have this problem with the old app.

    Please help.

    netflix undergoing maintance/update. 3/12/1:01am

    so i got on with netflix chatt...

    my basic question was.. i got an update on xboox one but cant find a breakdown did we loose or gain any titles.. what were the major changes.

    netflix
    An app update wouldn't reflect that, any updates to the app are purely on a technical level. content is updated on its own, outside of any actual updates to the software. All content has a set expiration date (except our originals) and we post that date within 2 weeks of expiring.

    so with that said i am going to say the update had to do more with the comcast speed update.

    I have the same issue. Two months into the Kinectless SKU and Kinect is being dropped like a bad smell by devs.

    Maybe we can look forward to the future of a Kinect that turns our Xbox's on and off, and does nothing else.

    yeah. It's kind of annoying for an app to go backwards with compatibility. You can voice command play, stop, rewind, fast-forward, but I was immediately frustrated when watching a show, and I couldn't select a different episode with my voice.

    I had to... pick up... a controller.... gross.

    Update:

    After restarting the Xbox, the voice commands are working. Nothing highlights with green text like the old app. Anyway, I have to navigate the new Netflix app using a combination of Xbox SmartGlass and voice commands...oh well.....

    How do I turn off subtitles so they stay OFF!?!?

    The last Netflix app update caused all video I play in Netflix to start with subtitles turned on. Looks like a bug in the Netflix app.

    Has anyone found a way to fix this?

    That is correct. It is solely the Netflix app. I was able to update 3 other apps and install a new game today all with no issues. And this is on all of my consoles. Only Netflix won't update for all of them.

    Why did party mode on Netflix have to go?

    Netflix is in charge with their own app. I don't believe it was a Microsoft decision. Microsoft may have told Netflix that the feature would no longer work with latest update and Netflix might have decided to not update it to be compatible. Send all complaints
    to Netflix, not Microsoft.
