Netflix app freezing at profile log in screen

When I turn on Netflix on Xbox One, at the log in screen (where you pick your profile), the screen freezes and will only allow me to use the home button to get out of the app. No other controls will work at that point.

I have tried restarting the app, forcing the app to quit and then restarting, uninstalling the app and reinstalling, and shutting down the entire Xbox and restarting.

Nothing has worked. I have noticed that other people have had a similar issue and I cannot find a solution anywhere.

Constant Freezing After Attempting to Update Netflix

So I attempted to update my 360 Netflix app and it froze midway. This led to me having to reset it which then turned into freezing when logging into the profile. I searched online and deleted the cache, but when I attempt to delete corrupted downloads the
console freezes again. Due to this I have to skip signing in and tried to delete the downloads. Which leads to freezing again. So now I've formatted the HDD assuming that would fix the problem. Instead now I am unable to download my profile whatsoever.

So in summary what I've done so far:

1) Frozen download from Netflix

2) Unable to Sign in to Xbox Live leading to skipping sign in

3) Deleted cache

4) Reformatted HDD

5) Attempt to download profile leads to freezing of device AFTER reformat of HDD

6) Open another profile without the Netflix attempt to download (works fine)

7) Tried to download Netflix on other profile, freezes again

8) Deleted both profiles locally

9) Reformatted and deleted all data from xbox again

10) Unable to sign into either profile now after downloading due to freezing

I'm pretty much at a loss of what to do now. The profiles I've downloaded seem to be corrupted since they worked fine until I downloaded the Netflix app. I've completely wiped my HDD so I'm lost.

Try changing the power mode settings to energy saving.

 

I'm having the same exact issue. The only resolution ive found is to disconnect and the reconnect the Xbox controller itself. Doing this EVERY TIME I use Netflix is a huge inconvenience.

 

Hey there, MarvLevy! Sorry to see any issues with Netflix! This thread is a bit old, however. If you haven't yet, I suggest taking the new update we rolled out this weekend and then trying again. Netflix should be updating for you as well. If you are still
